MILITARY ILLUSTRATIONS

I did a number of illustrations for a US military supplier who found me on Google. These included commemorative tee-shirt designs for a US Navy course, the launching of USS New York and clothing catalogues for a company that sold to military spouses and kids. It was a peek into a different world!

I got quite good at drawing eagles and flags. In the above illustration, I tried to make the feathers look like daggers, in keeping with the martial theme.

This unfinished proposal had to appeal to 19-25 year-old US Marines. Details such as the type of knife and bullets are correct. It was based on a design I did for a friend's punk band while I was a graphic design student.
